Department Overview

The PG Commerce Department became operationalized in 2011, with the courses M.Com (FA). Academic excellence is the backbone of the department, which has consistently produced 100% results from 2015 to till date and bagged 25 University ranks till date.

The academic year 2020–21 became evidence of the rain of university ranks and got 5 University ranks. The department has also shown excellence in research, contributing substantially to the total research output of the college. Presidency College (Autonomous) is one of the most sought-after colleges for PG commerce education in Bangalore. Currently, we are offering M.Com (General) and M.Com in Finance and Accounting (M.Com – FA) courses. Presidency College (Autonomous) focuses on the all-round development of students, be it academic, sports, or extracurricular activities, and these are the pulling factors to attract talents to our college.
