About Library

The Library is an integral part of the institution's academic ecosystem, serving as a dynamic knowledge and information resource centre for students, faculty members, researchers, and staff. Established with the vision of supporting excellence in teaching, learning, and research, the library continuously strives to provide access to quality information resources and innovative services.
The library houses a rich and diverse collection of print and electronic resources, including textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines, newspapers, e-books, e-journals, dissertations, and other scholarly materials. These resources are carefully selected and organized to meet the curricular, co-curricular, and research requirements of the academic community.
The library uses Koha Library Management System (LMS), a widely adopted open-source integrated library management software for automating library operations such as acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials control, and OPAC services. The system is integrated with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, enabling efficient self-check-in/check-out, inventory management, security, and faster circulation transactions. The RFID-enabled Koha environment enhances operational efficiency, improves user convenience, and ensures better management of library resources.
