NSS Day 2026: Celebrating the Spirit of Service

NSS Day 2026: Celebrating the Spirit of Service

NSS is more than a programme. It gives young people a chance to serve, learn, lead and make a real difference in society. NSS Day 2026 at Presidency College brought the college's National Service Scheme volunteers together to celebrate their commitment to community service and to recognise their contributions over the year.

Felicitating our volunteers

Students who took part in the previous year's NSS camp were felicitated, and the college recognised its outstanding volunteers of the year. The NSS Achievers 2026 are Ms. Moulya (B.Com), Mr. Chethan (B.Com) and Mr. Vishnu Tejas (BCA).

Words of encouragement

The programme featured addresses by the NSS Officer; Prof. Shazia Abdul Sait, Head – Learning & Development; and Lt. Guruprasad, NCC Officer. Each encouraged students to carry on their journey of service, leadership and social responsibility.

Not me, but you

Volunteers shared what the scheme has meant to them, and the gathering took the NSS pledge together under the scheme's motto, "Not Me, But You".
